An interdisciplinary multimedia project utilizing film, voice, and verbatim performance techniques to investigate how a person’s speech and story can evolve into an ‘authentic’ performance, while also exploring whether an emphasis on ‘authenticity’ can hinder or nurture our ability to engage with universal shared experiences and to develop cognitive empathy.
